About accommodation

Can I send my luggage to the hotel in advance?

When sending luggage to the hotel, please include the name of the person who made the reservation and the date of your stay.
Please also inform the hotel in advance that you have sent the package.
*We cannot accept refrigerated or frozen packages. Also, please refrain from sending packages C.O.D.

What payment methods are available?

We accept cash, card, and electronic money (WAON, nanaco, Rakuten Edy, Suica, pasumo, iD, QUICPay).

Can I use a credit card?

The following credit cards can be used:
Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Diners Club, JCB
Please note that all payments must be made in one lump sum.

Please call us as soon as possible to let us know your approximate arrival time.

How do I pay for an early morning departure?

If you wish to check out before 7:00am, please settle your bill at the Goshiki no Mori front desk in the main building.
Staff are on hand 24 hours a day at Goshiki no Mori front desk.

Can I sleep with my child?

Children under 3 years old can sleep in the same bed as guests (free of charge, no amenities provided).

Is there barrier-free access?

While wheelchair access is possible within the building, there are no fully barrier-free rooms, so assistance will be required inside the rooms.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

[Main building Goshiki no Mori] All rooms are non-smoking.
[Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu] All rooms are non-smoking.

Smokers are requested to use the smoking room located next to the Art Gallery Goshiki no Mori the main building.

Does the room have a bath?

All rooms are equipped with a bath.
*The baths in the guest rooms are not hot springs.

Are there rooms with separate bathrooms and toilets?

All rooms except for Lake View Suite have separate bathrooms and toilets.

Please tell me about the storage of valuables.

All rooms are equipped with safes.
We will also keep your luggage at the front desk, so please feel free to ask if you would like to leave it with us.

Is there a refrigerator?

Available in all rooms.

What amenities are available in the guest rooms?

We provide soap (liquid), body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush set, towels, bath towels, yukata robes, and slippers.

Can I connect to the Internet?

Enjoy free Wi-Fi access anywhere in the hotel, including the lobby and guest rooms.
Enjoy the internet on a variety of devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Can I stay with my pet?

We are sorry, but we do not allow guests to bring pets with them.

Please tell me the check-in and check-out times

Standard check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Depending on the reservation situation, we may be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, so please feel free to contact us.
(Early check-in and late check-out will incur additional charges.)

I'd like some hot water for milk.

Please feel free to ask at the front desk.

Do you have yukata for children?

We have it ready for you.
Children's yukatas are available in large, medium and small sizes.
If the size does not fit, please contact the front desk and a staff member will prepare a yukata that fits your child.
We also provide toothbrushes and slippers for children.

Do you sell children's items?

Sorry, we don't carry this item.

What kinds of daily necessities are available for sale?

Contact lens cleaning solution, sanitary products, and coin laundry detergent are available for sale at the front desk.
Please note that there are limited numbers of each item.

Please tell me about your anniversary services.

In addition to arranging cakes and flowers (for a fee), we will also provide any small assistance you may have.
Please feel free to contact us when making a reservation.
*Please place your order by 5:00 PM three days prior to your visit. For visits from December 22nd to December 25th, please place your order by December 16th.

Please tell me specifically what equipment you are renting.

We have humidifiers, hair dryers, fans, wheelchairs, irons, and ironing boards available.
If you would like to use this service, please ask at the front desk.

Are wheelchairs available for rental?

There are three units available.
Reservations and rentals can be made at the front desk, so please feel free to ask.

Is there a mobile phone charger?

Chargers for mobile phones and smartphones are available for rental at the front desk on the 1st floor.

Can I send luggage from the hotel?

We accept shipments of luggage. Please contact the front desk for information on shipping fees.

Can I store my luggage before or after check-in?

We can store your luggage not only before check-in but also after check-out.
Enjoy sightseeing in the surrounding area.

Can I arrange a massage?

We offer massage services until midnight (24:00). We have a wide variety of services available, so please feel free to inquire.

Can I eat lunch?

* Waraku and Maple are currently not open for lunch.

Do you sell alcohol?

Alcohol is sold at the shop on the first floor.
The shop on Goshiki no Mori building offers a wide variety of local Aizu sake and snacks unique to Fukushima.

Are there vending machines?

Are there washing machines and dryers?

Washing machines and dryers are available on the 2nd, 3rd, and Goshiki no Mori.
Washing machine: 300 yen per use Detergent (2-pack): 100 yen
Dryer: 100 yen for 30 minutes

Do you have an ice machine?

Ice is available at the front desk. Please feel free to ask.

Do you have a lounge?

There is a lounge exclusively for guests on the first Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu.
Please feel free to enjoy coffee and tea here, making it a relaxing space.

Are there any entertainment facilities?

Main building Goshiki no Mori Amusement zone for adults with billiards, darts, table tennis, simulation golf, etc. are available at the 3rd floor play spot.
Main building Goshiki no Mori Karaoke rooms on the 4th floor can accommodate 2-8 persons per room. (advance reservation required).

Urabandai Activities to fully enjoy the nature in the nature reserve are available at the reception desk on the 1st floor of the main building (Goshiki no Mori).

Can I purchase souvenirs?

There is a shop on the 1st floor of the main building Goshiki no Mori.
We offer a wide selection of local products, including local Aizu sake, Kitakata Ramen, and other souvenirs from the Aizu region, as well as mountain salt made by boiling down the hot spring water of Urabandai Onsen.

About meals

Do you have a children's menu?

For guests who wish to enjoy a Japanese kaiseki meal and have young children, we can provide a children's meal.
*Please contact the hotel in advance.

Can I eat in my room?

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. At our hotel, all guests dine in the restaurant.

Do you cater to allergies?

About the hot springs

Is there a large public bath?

Guests Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu can enjoy a large public bath at the "Niji no Mori Onsen), which is exclusively for their use.
Opening hours are 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM (last entry 11:00 AM) and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (last entry 10:00 PM).
The open-air bath offers stunning views of Lake Hibara, allowing you to enjoy the ever-changing colors of the sky and the scenery of each season.

Additionally, you can also use the large Aurora no Yu" on the 1st floor of the main building Goshiki no Mori.
Opening hours are 5:00 AM to 10:30 AM (last entry 9:30 AM) and 1:30 PM to 1:00 AM (last entry 12:00 AM).
Please also enjoy the view from the open-air bath "Hibarami no Yu".

What kind of spring quality is it?

You can enjoy one of the few "free-flowing hot springs" in Fukushima Prefecture.
This hot spring is said to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain and motor paralysis, decreased gastrointestinal function, bruises, cuts, frozen shoulders, fatigue recovery, dry skin, and autonomic nervous system instability.

Can I use the baths on a day trip?

You can use the large public bath "Aurora no Yu" on Goshiki no Mori, from 9:00 to 10:30 (last entry 9:30) and from 13:30 to 21:00 (last entry 20:00).
The price is 1,200 yen (tax included) for adults (junior high school age and older), 800 yen (tax included) for children aged 4 and up to elementary school age, and free for infants (3 years old and under).
*Towel set: 400 yen (tax included)

Please note that we may restrict entry on days when there are many guests.

Can I use the large public bath before or after check-in?

Only guests staying at the hotel can use the large public bath before and after check-in.
Bath towels and face towels are not provided, but they can be rented at the front desk for 400 yen (tax included).
Please inquire at the front desk if you wish to use the service.

Is there a sauna?

There is a high-temperature sauna at Niji no Mori Onsen which is exclusively available to guests staying at Nekoma Rikyu.
It is also effective in recovering from fatigue and relieving stress, so please feel free to use it.

There is also a steam sauna in the large public bath on the first floor of the main building, Goshiki no Mori.
Please feel free to use this as well.

Are there any amenities such as hair dryers in the large public bath?

There is a hair dryer in the changing room.
Cotton swabs and other items are also available for your use.
When using the large public bath, please bring the bath towels and small towels provided in your room.

Others

Are there local buses running?

The bus runs between Koriyama Station and the hotel, and between Inawashiro Station and Kitakata Station. As the number of buses is limited, please inquire at the front desk if you wish to use the bus.

Is there a shuttle bus?

We offer a free shuttle bus service between the nearest JR Inawashiro Station and the hotel.
Reservations are not required to use the shuttle bus, however, reservations are required for groups of 10 or more people.

About arranging a taxi

Please feel free to ask at the front desk.

When does the snow start to fall?

There is a possibility of snowfall from early December. Please be sure to wear studless tires and anti-skid shoes.
Also, be sure to check the weather forecast before you depart.

Is there parking available?

There is space for approximately 300 cars. Parking is free, so please feel free to use it.

Is there a hospital nearby?

"Urabandai Clinic" is located about a 5-minute drive away.
If you feel unwell during your stay, please consult the front desk.

Are there any convenience stores nearby?

There is a Seven-Eleven about a 5-minute drive away.

Please tell me about convenient facilities in the area

The following facilities are located in the vicinity of our museum:

★Coin laundry: 30 minutes by car, "Mr. Laundry next to York Benimaru Inawashiro store"
★Hospital: 5 minutes by car from "Minami Tohoku Hospital Urabandai Clinic"
★Drugstore: Tsuruha Drug Inawashiro Store (30 minutes by car)
★Home improvement store: 30 minutes by car, "Daiyu Eight Inawashiro Store"

Is there a ski resort nearby?

There are more than five ski resorts around Mount Bandai. Depending on the ski resort, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding for a long season, from late November through Golden Week.

Is there a shuttle bus to the ski resort?

Some ski resorts have buses operated by the ski resorts. Details will be announced around December.
Please contact the front desk for more information.

Is there a smoking area?

Located next to the art gallery on the 1st floor of the main building Goshiki no Mori.

Do you have newspapers?

They are available in the lobby.

Can I bring in food and drinks?

Please refrain from bringing drinks into the restaurant. If you bring drinks into the banquet hall, a corkage fee will be charged.

Are there any places where I can withdraw money (cash dispensers/ATMs)?

There is no parking available inside the hotel.
There is an ATM inside a Seven-Eleven about a 5-minute drive away.

Is there a beauty salon?

There is an aromatherapy and massage corner in front of the large public bath on Goshiki no Mori.

Are there rental bicycles?

We offer bicycle rentals to our hotel guests.
Please feel free to use it for exploring the surrounding area.

What if I want to cancel an activity?

Please note that if you cancel your application for a program after registering due to your own circumstances, a cancellation fee will be charged starting 7 days before the program's scheduled start date.
If the organizers decide to cancel the event the day before or on the day of the event due to bad weather, no cancellation fee will be charged.
