When you get off at Inawashiro Station, Mount Bandai will greet you.
The first day begins with a pleasant, cool, and clear air.
We immediately headed to our next destination by taking the "Hideyoku-go" circular bus (operating until early November) that visits the main tourist spots around Lake Inawashiro, or by taxi.

Hideyo Noguchi Memorial Hall
The birthplace of Dr. Hideyo Noguchi and the exhibition hall are both located here, and the house has been left exactly as it was when he was born, including the hearth where he burned his left hand. The exhibition hall also has exhibits on the doctor's research achievements and a corner where you can learn and experience the world of bacteria through games and other means.
The adjacent Infectious Disease Museum conveys the knowledge and experience humans have built up about infectious diseases, as well as progress toward the future, and allows visitors to learn correct knowledge about infectious diseases.

World Glass Museum
This is one of Japan's largest glass exhibition facilities, gathering together around 25,000 handmade glass products from around the world. There is a special exhibition room with a selection of outstanding works, and a glass workshop (fees apply) where you can try your hand at making glass beads and blowing glass, and even create your own original work.

Inawashiro Craft Beer Hall
The authentic beer, brewed using the techniques of a Braumeister (brewmaster) invited from Germany, has won the International Beer Award. You can enjoy local beer while looking out at Mount Bandai, as well as original sausages and snacks that go perfectly with beer.

Tsurugajo Castle
Tsurugajo Castle, a symbol of Aizuwakamatsu City, boasts beautiful red tiled roofs. The castle tower can be seen from almost anywhere in the city. There are also many other attractions, including stone walls and a tea house. Various events and special exhibitions are also held there.

Join a guide who knows Urabandai, the sparkling blue Aonuma Pond, and the glittering Ruri Pond with Mount Bandai in the background, all on snowshoes. Even first-timers can participate with confidence.

Smelt fishing (hole fishing)
You can rent a fishing hut and enjoy ice smelt fishing in your own space. The snow bike ride to the hut is an exhilarating attraction! It might also be fun to compete with your group to see who can catch the most fish.
